About Griff and Mabel
Back in the 70s, the majority of my clothes were fashioned and sewn on a vintage Singer pedal sewing machine. My collection ranged from runway worthy flared trousers made out of old curtain fabric to a polyester ‘New Romantic’ style multi ruffle shirt. Everything was homegrown and homemade to the highest quality, made with the greatest panache and pizazz and most of all they were created with the greatest of love and care.
Griff, my father and Mabel, my mother are no longer with us but their creativity, their drive for perfection and love of life will live on through the Griff and Mabel brand. You will see this through our subtle branding, refined, luxurious fabrics and coordinated trims. Evident through the striking, tasteful colour combinations and lastly the impeccable attention to detail.
